 Finally got out
« Thread Started on Nov 2, 2009, 8:43pm »

Well, finally got out to my lease for a hunt yesterday evening. Its the first time I have been to the property. Went with my friend Shane, who made the hybrid longbows we were using. Didnt get any, but spotted 2 does from 200yds, and got within 50yds of them before my arrow in my quiver hooked a twig and made a loud noise. Great start to my season, cant wait to go again!!

Your kid in a ground blind is the best idea :)
My son would play with his compact video game during the afternoon.
It kept him quite and far from being bored.
That worked very very well :)
